Primary Rate ISDN Acceptable Use Policy

This PRI Acceptable Use Policy (“PRI Policy”) aims to ensure that you do not use the PRI Service for a Prohibited Use as set forth below.

Customer may only use our PRI Service for permitted personal, residential or business purposes. You may not use the PRI Service to engage in Prohibited Uses as identified below, or any other use which may cause significant network congestion, or to avoid payment of access charges. Prohibited Uses include, but are not limited to, the following:

PROHIBITED USES

1. Excessive Use

  • Autodialing;
  • Continuous or extensive call forwarding;
  • Continuous call session connectivity;
  • Fax broadcasting;
  • Fax blasting;
  • Telemarketing; or
  • Any other activity that would be inconsistent with reasonable personal, residential and business use patterns;

2. Disallowed Use

  • use of the PRI Service to terminate interstate traffic as local traffic on the ACS network to avoid access charges.

ACS RIGHTS

We may monitor your use of the PRI Service to ensure your compliance with this PRI Policy. Without limiting our rights under the Service Order and Agreement, if we believe for any reason that you are in breach of this PRI Policy, we may, without notice to you, reduce your usage so that it complies with this PRI Policy, and/or:

  • terminate your PRI Service;
  • suspend or limit the PRI Service (or any feature of it) for any period we think is reasonably necessary;
  • bill you for access charges for all non-local traffic disguised as local traffic terminating on any of our networks
